AVIV I is our main company, with which we create pieces to perform and to tour with. We use choreographers from within our company as well as guest choreographers who join for specific projects. Besides guest choreographers AVIV also uses guest dancers, who can join AVIV I for a specific project through an audition. The weekly training sessions are on Friday from 4pm till 7pm and you have also the possibility to join the training from 7.30pm-10pm, in Breukelen, the Netherlands. Once in a month we will have a community night at Friday evening. Where we connect, eat together, share something from the Bible and have the possibility to sleep over if we having a lot of fun or good conversations;)

The dancers at AVIV I are all graduated at a Dance Academy or are interns from a Dance Academy. Within AVIV I dancers get the opportunity to grow in their qualities as a dancer, choreographer or teacher. By taking responsibility together, each dancer alternately has the role of choreographer and/or teacher for a training or the preparation for a performance or tour.

AVIV II consists of talented dancers who want to develop their dancing technique, create new pieces and who want to worship God through dance. The training sessions are on Friday from 7.30pm – 9pm in Breukelen and are led by Birgit Juch. But you have a lot of options to train longer! You have the possibility to train also from 4pm till 7pm with AVIV I.

The last hour, from 9pm – 10pm, is also optional. Twice a year a young choreographer from the company gets the option to lead AVIV II. The young, motivated choreographer is allowed to create a piece and receives coaching in the process.
